How should I assure if my posted link may count as Google inlinks?

as your own experience in SEO, is all your posted link were counted as Google inlinks? if so.. where did you place your link?
and what are your basis before placing link in a particular page?

If you are placing links is sig files in forums - be sure to read their rules first.

Not all links are shown in Google with the link: query. Better use Yahoo Site Exporer for a more detailed listing of your backlinks.

Google does not show all of the links established to websites and if you want to take a better look at your website's linking status, you could use the Google webmaster tools.
