I was looking for domain names in a particular niche, but it seems anything I typed was taken up by someone using domain name parking. How on Earth do people make money doing that? I can't imagine them making enough from type-in traffic to pay for the domain name. Perhaps I'm missing something here?
People park domain names, the place they park it ad places ads on the parked site, people visit domain, click ads = owner makes money.
It's really worthless to park domains unless you have a really really really good domain name. Something like www.blue.com that millions of people will type every day. If you own a domain like www.find-best-online-flight-deals.com and park it, you'll not make a dime.
