Can anyone tell me why all my visitors are showing up as "not viewed traffic"? This is a company intranet site but I can't figure out why it tells me that I have no viewed traffic. Is there a setting that I am missing???

From an AWStats page:
Hmmm... is your intranet connection thru https:// ?Not viewed trafic is trafic generated by robots, worms or answers with special HTTP status code.
There's a section in the manual you'll want to look at, page 54:
http://awstats.sourceforge.net/docs/awstats.pdf
....
This is the intranet site. There should not be any external connection but we are using http not https.
Is there a way to change the codes to accept all of them or at least all the successful codes. I have tried a couple of things and can't get anything to change.

The IIS is reporting unknown error codes, yet the site is working fine and another web log analyzer program sees everything just fine. I must be missing a setting in the IIS setup or something. I will keep looking but any help will be appreciated.
Quoting the AWStats manual (page 54) reference I mentioned above:In other words, somewhere in AWStat's config file you should be able to enter the error code you're receiving from IIS, so AWStats will ignore it and process the logs like usual. If 999 is the error code, have no idea what that is, and cannot find any documentation on it either.HTTP status codes are returned by web servers to indicate the status of a request. Codes 200 and 304 are used to tell the browser the page can be viewed... All codes that are 'unseen' traffic are isolated by AWStats in the HTTP Status report chart, enabled by the directives ShowHTTPErrorsStats. in config file. You can also change value for 'not error' hits (set by default to 200 and 304) with the ValidHTTPcodes directive...
....
I made some changes to that line and could not tell any differences. I guess the problem is with the reporting of the codes. It doesn't seem to be catching the codes properly.
Thanks for the help
This is an error in the AWSTAT documentation.
Simply remove "CS-URI-QUERY" from W3C enhanced Log settings at your IIS-Webserver.
After deleting the old Logs everything should be ok

Thanks, Wildthing!
I had this same issue and the previous post worked for me and is correct.

Thanks for your post...your response helped me get my stats to function properly. I am left with two questions, though...Originally posted by WildThing

What is the data that is contained in the CS-URI-QUERY field? Would I ever need to see it?
Now that it's functioning, I'm left wondering if I'm actually capturing all of the traffic. Am I missing anything?
Thanks again,
