How do you keep track of all your logins and like things?
Do you have a hard copy (if so - how do you manage it) or is it all in electronic format (if so - how)?

I Do Website Design - but I am here to learn all about publishing
I know it's probably not a safe practice, but I keep all my login information in an excel spreadsheet.
I probably should use my ironkey to store this information
I do too... I was wondering about making a local mysql/php app which held all the data for me... what do you think - a good idea or not?

Somehow, I remember. I use so many different passwords, yet I seem to remember which site uses which.
Don't you just love free internet games ?
I tend to forget most of the time so I make sure that my login is something relevant like combination of birth dates or combination of names. However, I write them down and put on a secured box just if in case i forgot them. LOL
Will it help your productivity in the end?
If so, why not.
Personally, I keep them, along with direct links to login pages, and my usernames too since I don't often remember them.
The only ones I don't save for the time being are my server root passwords. Those are my most secure and I only keep them in my head.
But ad networks and whatnot, sure.
There was a free app for my Palm PDA that I used to use. I can't remember what it was called. It let you input the "system" (usually website or server name), username, and password. It stored them encrypted under one master password. It worked great for me, but I don't use a Palm anymore so had to stop using it. I think there are similar apps for Windows, just make sure it's from a reliable company and not just a trojan trying to steal your passwords.
I use Opera's wand - and have the wand itself password protected with a single password that way I have easy access to all my endless legacy passwords
There's a windows application I looked into recently that encrypts and stores them locally. Rated #1.. wish I could remember the name.
