theplanet has a good deal on dual xeons

    Hi,

I just bought a new dual xeon 2.4 server from theplanet, got it for around $150/month.
I am paying like 200 for mine, so i'll just transfer over!

What is "yours" as in your existing server specs?

The older 2.4ghz xeons are slooow compared to the new ones and even the new p4 core duos.

I just picked up a dev. server form Softlayer for $159/mo.
    Single Processor Dual Core Xeon 3050 - 2.13GHz (Core2Duo). 2gb DDR2 667mhz. 250gb SATA and 2TB transfer. When I checked with TP this was a better deal.

+ SoftLayer support and '$3 admin ticket' are SO much better.

(Ok that do have windows, for some reason one of the plans didn't have the option)

ToddW, did you use a coupon code? IT says 179 on the site for those specs.
