Google gift!

I got a Google Christmas gift for the first time this year! This is something I've hoped for for the last several years, but always missed out on, so I'm pretty excited! If you are expecting one and don't want me to ruin the surprise then stop reading now...

They sent a 2 GB USB drive the size of a credit card (ultra thin). They also sent a $100 credit for donorschoose.org. You can search the site and choose the project you want to donate the money to. Very cool!

Very cool idea for a gift. Do you do a lot of Adwords volume, or is this most likely from your volume in Adsense?

I hope I get this year's gift. I never received the one from last year. I'm not sure if Google didn't send it or if a neighbor in my old apartment building swiped the package (we were having problems with that in the building).

Nice, got a Christmas hamper from work this year although would have preferred a cash bonus but a gift is nice too. The donorschoose.org gift/donation is a cool idea, although I keep thinking of a certain episode of Friends with gifts like that

I got it too; I was much more appreciative of the $100 donor card than the flimsy USB card. Last year I got a digital picture frame which began emitting a high pitched about an hour after first turning it on. I threw it out

The thing is, I do, quite a bit. I always got them previous years. Maybe it just got lost in the mail.

Sounds like Google have managed to upset quite a few publishers either by accident or by using some type of filter on which publishers to send their gifts to.
