I've served around 15,000 banner ads in the last 3/4 days, but my click thru rate is amazingly high - 4% for non-targetted ads... I'm sure the average is way lower, why do you think it's so high?

I am. I'm wondering why though, and if more CPC than CPM things would be benificial to me.
Wild guess on my part, but could it be that since you've just added them, your users are new to the banners and so they would click them?
Not sure.
It could be even higher because the google ads thru fastclick dont register click thrus, but I have certainly clicked on some as it is displaying very interesting results.
By the way, how much do the flashing winner ads usually pay?
