Anyone heard of this type of internet marketing

I have ran an online business for 3 years now. I sell gag gifts that are usually pretty out of the ordinary. My website has seo and i have even used adwords. I recently read about this company called HypeDrive.com. They do buzz marketing through blogs, myspace, and message boards. They claim to do word of mouth marketing whereas they have people who will talk about your product with others. I guess they network for you. I've seen the blog stuff done by payperpost and they seem to be successful and lot of big companies are using them. I like the idea of paid blogs , but the idea of having people communicate on your behalf seems to be intresting. Has anyone heard of or used this company before. I think it could be useful, i just wanted some outside opinions. Thanks.

In other words they spam blogs & forums and other user submitted content sites and hope to get by spam filters and watchful moderators by not including direct links.

Hmmm doth thou worketh for them?

Hmm, I wonder. Joe44 has posted roughly the same thing on a few forums, so has Harry88, as well as Joseph88 (on Sitepoint), and here we have redeye44.

I would normally remove this type of post, but then again I feel that having it public so everyone knows that HypeDrive spams would serve a higher purpose.

    Plus, it is rather amusing.

By the way, my 'eyeroll' wasn't at you, but at the spammer.

I looked back at it, and me responding to your post might make it look that way.

And yeah, I'd definitely leave it.

As far as forum spam goes, this was pretty funny. Did anyone else notice a lack of a negative answer on the poll?
