WHat's up with all the MSN emotion sites?

What's up with all these sites? they are popping up like crazy, I just got one to jump on the bandwagon msn-emotions.info

seemed like the only decent one left, and the others are mostly owned by people here

I think most are owned by members of this site

Google seems to have dumped them all in the last update though...

It's because something like 4% of searches on MSN are for "msn emotions" (so i'm told). Also, msn emotions was about the 20th most popular keyword on wordtracker.

Wordtracker is wrong, or it is over a 60 day period. Check .info and -.org's stats from there owners. Both didn't get much while at No. 1 position.

It's probably one of the closest tools you can use, imo.

Yeah, I think it must be over a 60 day period sadly. The gem isn't so big after all...

Huge difference! Wordtracker results are over a 60day (2month) , just digital point is miss reading the results.

    From word tracker site:

Count - This shows the number of times a particular keyword has appeared in our database. E.g. Our database currently holds 335 million words. A count of 147 tells us that this particular word has appeared 147 times out of 335 million (this is over a two month period).
I can say that wordtracker is very accurate

I started my msn emotions site cause i saw it scrolling past when i was looking around wordtracker, just thort it sounded fun

I think search engines are searched more than 335 million times every two months though.

I'm assuming that they are just using example figures, but i dunno. 2 month's explains it well tho with the stats i was getting.

Not amazing. But as well as can be expected for that one keyword alone. If adsense is kind at providing 3+ ads on the pages i was getting above $10 a day. 500uniques average if you get on the first page of google.
