    Running a CMS/Blog next to a store

    I am building a site with and store and a cms or blog running along side.

    Will I get problems with people jumping from one to the other? A friend has said that if they jump from the store to the blog and back again, any products added to the cart will be lost - something to do with sessions.
    I Do Website Design - but I am here to learn all about publishing

    Any quality cart wont cause loss of items if they do that.

    Well I was planning on using x-cart - so hopefully I should be OK - but I'll check
