How are you all doing with your taxes? The day is near.
To be honest, I was not as organized as I should have been during 2006.
Trying to get all this information off to my accountant...

This wouldn't be nearly as hard if Paypal was a bit more functional.
I can't find a print option for an invoice - I don't want to print the whole screen. I must be missing something.
Paypal should let you download all transactions in the history, so you could download all tranasctions for 2006 in CSV format and make a nice little spreadsheet for your accountant.

I got my 1099 from Google today (how ironic) and am STILL WAITING on my Azoogle 1099 which they are supposed to overnight now that my previous one was apparently lost
I had all my qbooks done by Jan 15th or so just waitin gon 1099's too.. meeting with my accountant tomororw to get it all finished up.
Almost done!
I have to start mine
Being incorporated I had to do most of my tax work and give my accountant numbers back in January. Now my accountant is just finishing up my personal taxes. Of course we'll hold off mailing out our taxes until April 15th because we always owe money.

My accountant moved, so I will be filing on my own. Don't I love April 15
Good thing - kept enough checks uncashed last year so that I didn't make enough to owe taxes. Bad thing - now will have to figure out what to do with double profit next year.

Oh, I have bad news demofen. It doesn't matter if you didn't cash those checks or not -- you were issued those checks. That's how much money you made. That's what you have to pay taxes on, regardless what you deposited.
As always, seek financial advice -- but I'm not wrong.
I'll have to agree with Shawn's last post. Demosfen, you are working on a flawed theory and it could really come back to bite you if you get audited. My advice is to find a new tax accountant to help you stay out of trouble.

I agree about having a good accountant, but I find that it's like a good auto mechanic, you have to try a dozen before you find a sharp one. My taxes are relatively simple this year, so I'll be filing myself, I doubt I'll find a new CPA soon. (And it gives them indigestion that I didn't get SSN for one of my kids, maybe some of them are not sure how to handle it or whatever)

My taxes are finally in; I cut it real close.
I owe a bit more than I expected.
