Making an interactive software CD in Director

What databse should I use for all the info? Also, if anyone could rec. any books on making cd's w/ director and a databse, so I can read up that would be great.

offline use. it will be a cd demonstrating how to catch rainwater I believ.e

Well, I don't know much about Director but I don't think you would need a database to do that.
