    Other forums to build PR

Google doesn't count the sig links in the vast majority of forums. Websitepublisher is one of the few exceptions.

It occasionally picks up slashdot (depending on how a thread is archived), but usually not.

Anyone know other forums like websitepublisher?

SitePoint does now. I think Shawn gets a lot of his PR from a Physics forum? Can't really remember.

I best check mine then. What site has gone up Chromate?

Edit: I'm really hoping murmurs.com becomes sig link search engine friendly because I will have an extra 5310 backward links then...

You won't if you've made that many posts. All them posts aren't in different threads are they? Chances are those 5310 posts will be spread amongst 2000 different threads, meaning that you would get 2000 backlinks.

Why don't you reccomend it to them? Changing to a SEO friendly.

They are changing all the site soon anyway, the guy who makes it is in the process of creating a new thing so it breaks away from BBulitin thing and use one the guy who owns it makes. More info on this at www.ethankaplan.com

I'm still looking for forums to add my sig in...

He is planning to upgrade it to VBullitin 3 in a few days because his new custom made software thing is going to take a while for him to finnish... His earlier sucessful projects on murmurs include making a peer-to-peer program just for R.E.M. files... I use it alot...
