I decided to compare Google's new link tab to Yahoo's Site Explorer.
For my environmental chemistry site, Google is reporting just over 27,000 links while Yahoo is reporting over 41,000 links. At the same time I believe the number to be over 50,000. The advantage of Google's new links tab over Yahoo's Site Explorer is that Google will allow you to download all links while Yahoo will only allow one to download the first 1,000 links.
I'd love to be able to get a CSV file of all links to my site and to what pages the links lead to. This would really help me track what are the most popular pages and what article topics generate the most links.
Some people are reporting that they are finding the new tool really useful for finding site scrapers.
