Web Designer needed for new Internet Startup in Portland, OR

Need a Web Designer for a new internet startup in Portland. There is no pay offered at this point, but we are offering 4% shares in the company to each person chosen for this venture with a 1% bonus if completed by deadline.

You would be working part time out of your own home on your off work hours at this point. We will hold regular meetings once a week, plus phone conferences. Once we have the website Beta up and running we will be able to obtain venture funding, move into an office, and start paying the employees.

This is a new and unique idea in the "social network" sector of consumer internet. Great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a potentially huge long term internet 2.0 business.

Have you tried to get money to pay this person? Family members, cc advance, business loans, personal lines of credit?

Unless you think your idea is going to flop or you've exhausted all other methods of funding paying someone for a design and not offering a % is a better way.
