I had a old website with content but im gonna scrap it since it doesnt really get any traffic anymore and existing content was pretty poor. Im redoing everything and shifting some of the old content over to the new structure at least ones i find useful.
Should i 301 to the main page for all the orphan pages? or whats the best way ?
It gets no traffic... so what benefit do you hope to obtain from the 301?
The reason I ask is that if the site has accumulated a SE penalty or ban then the 301 will just transfer that to the new site. As such it may be better to just completely start fresh.
Here is my question, why is it not getting anymore traffic? Is it because the search terms have slowed down or the sites rankings have dropped? My first web site is currently at PR 0 because I did some spammy stuff with it, otherwise all my other "old" content sites are doing better than ever (except for that one Registerfly said was renewed and wasn't)

i used a script that wasnt stable and now its gone and broken... So i lost those pages and am starting fresh.
