    USB KB w/out # pad

Anyone know of any good NORMALLY layed out keyboards that don't have the # pad attached?

It can be USB wired or wireless.

Also what about a good wireless # pad?

All of Microsoft's new Wireless Entertainment Desktop series ($150 to $250 keyboard and mouse combos designed to coincide with the Vista release). They're extremely nice looking hardware and happen to not have number pads.

Microsoft Wireless Elite Desktop 7000 comes out this month (1/20 I think)
Microsoft Wireless Elite Desktop 8000 comes out next month (adds backlighting on the keyboard which turns off when you walk away, and a recharging dock for both the keyboard and mouse)

You can preorder the 7000 on a couple sites, including Amazon.com:

This may be a dumb question, but why do you need them separate?

To ergonomically place my mouse directly in front of my wrist instead of the slight / it's at now... Dan those do look awesome but the damn big length added to the side kinda defetes my purpose of wanting one w/out a # pad.

    Hrm....

Seems like that might be what you're looking for... No idea how good it is, though.
