    Someone stole my image link

    Someone stole my image link, what i can do?
    the link like this
    www.website.com/XXX.jpeg
    they put my image link on their site and stole my bandwidth.

    Search for "image hotlinking protection" on google. That is what it is called, "hotlinking"

    You can be mean too and rewrite it to a new image, either an offensive one or one that says "This website steals images"

    change the image to some porn image. they should realize it, it not it will freak out there visitors. Another idea is to put an image that says they stole images from your site, and put your url on it.

    Yes my very first thought was to change the image to a real nasty porn one and serve the him/her right. That's assuming the site is one that porn would be shocking.

    Man, now I wish someone would try and steal an image off my site. Anyone know of a tool to check if your images are hotlinked?
