    Do search engines frown upon developers placing descriptive text statements in the index.html file below the main flash site? I did this on my flash site in the index.html at http://www.launchthatweb.com and so far no positive rank results by adding the content. Is this allowed by search engines or frowned upon?

    No, it is common and appropriate to include textual content when your site is otherwise flash.
