In all likelyhood, it will probably be fine (I mean, look how good the forum posts here get indexed), but I would re-write it anyway, personally, if for no other reason than aesthetics and making things easier on the humans u sing the site.
The only problem I could possibly see is the .list bit at the end. It wasn't too long ago (okay 5 years) that that would have caused a big problem, even in Google. I had to email a Google engineer a few times ot get them to fix it.
Of course this is a problem: http://www.hotclubber.com/?L=events.list
The page doesn't even load for me
In all seriousness it will probably be FINE but if you don't want to risk it you cuold mod_rewrite it.
i was thinking about this mod rewrite but it seems super hard any simplified ways of doing this
?
It's not hard if you wrote the software... if you didn't then you'd have to figure out how it creates the URLs and make them SEO friendly.Originally Posted by izwar
The .htaccess stuff is only 2 lines and very easy.
