Thumbs up Old Time Webmistress in The House

Hi Denise Ann here or Mamaw if you prefer, I'm a 50 yr old grandmother of 3 and have been in the business since 1995, we currently own over 3200 sites and or domains and maintain and manage them, along with buying and selling websites and domains, doing the very best in helping others maximize the potential income from there site through SEO and installing scripts, estores, search portals and forums and such.

I have my daughter and her husband and two other employees who work for me involved in the business and managing our sites and doing the needed work for others, my husband started the business , dragging me in kicking and screaming he was crazy back in 95 .

He passed away last year due to a long fight with cancer and i can honestly say he knew what he was talking about when we came into the business, there is so much money to be made and still to be made and growing each and everyday in the world of the web.

Our current projects include developing a portal with 700 sites for a developmental group who want it to have a solid back end and deliver search results to those 700 sites similar in a way to what you might find on sedo or go daddy if the pages were parked.

Nice Forum i hope to visit often.

I used it once upon a time, but didn't like it because it was always so cluttered... and who wants to remember a name anyways? AOL was my ISP at the time... being like the only one to offer flat rate Internet, so I used AIM.

Now there is a deep dark secret you don't want too many people to know.

Well its not so bad, practically everyone back then who didn't have a free hookup from a college/work had to use AOL. $3 an hour sucks when compared to unlimited for $30 a month.

Welcome to WSP. This place is a little quieter than most of the other webmaster boards out there, but also friendlier
