    Downtime

    Awhile ago consolidated most of my content sites onto a single server, its a beefy server, dual p4, runs fine.

    Apparently late last night or early this morning cpanel pushed an update that included some faulty bind code if you run RHEL, which this server does.

    So... that is why this site was down all morning. In fact it affected thousands of servers so be sure to check your own sites.

    I don't think it was ever down for me?

    All my sites seem fine, but maybe some of my visitors saw problems...

    The control pannel I use is some custom interface created by the web hosting firm I use.
