    Name database

    Hi all,

Does anyone know the laws regarding name databases? Is it like other things, where everything's ok as long as you don't copy another sites collection of names?

    Cheers,
    Mike

Unless it is a database of actual real person names, you should be right.

If they are real people, you cannot really use the DB unless you have their permission.

Yeah, like names for babies. Not actual full names, just the first names of people.
