    CJ Link Changes

I am wondering, what are your thoughts on CJ's recent announcement that they are making all links javascript based?

For those who haven't heard about it yet, here is two links that can explain what I'm talking about:

    http://affiliate-blogs.5staraffiliat...nt-initiative/

Personally, I am still unsure as to how this will effect me. I can't see any reason why CJ would force me to use javascript, but surely they wouldn't limit an affiliate's ability to drive sales/leads for merchants?

I promote a lot of CJ merchants on some of my coupon sites. I like to be able to cut out the linking code and put it in my database so I can do redirects. I have a feeling that these javascript links will totally screw that up.
