    Why isn't Google biting?

I have an Amazon affiliate site at www.buymetal.net - Google hits the front page everyday (seemingly), but has not crawled any further at all. Only 2 pages indexed, and those are for the index page on www.buymetal.net and just buymetal.net.

How long does it take to get 'deep crawled'?

The site's been in its current form for perhaps 3-4 weeks.

It could be the URL strings. There is a parsable "ID" in there, even if it isn't in a query string

It should, yes. It could be because of the site's newness.

If you don't get crawled within 2 weeks though there is definitely an issue.

    Mark,

The session_ids thing is due to a variable in the apache conf file (I don't remember which one). By setting it to OFF instead of ON, the session ids will go away. Search on google to find out which variable it is (if you can -- I'm seeing a lot of irrelevant results in the past few days
