I'm looking to expand upon my small network of sites and was wondering how everyone goes about researching a nice/keywords. How do you do it? What tools do you use?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

for me its more about inspiration. I don't come up with a list of ideas and decide which one is best to pursue, I try to pursue all my ideas.
Generally though, when I have an idea, I scope out the competition of course, I see how they're making their money (might tip me off to a good paying affiliate program) and I check word tracker traffic statistics.
