Been using SitePoint for about five years under a different username (and more anonymous than here). I got fed up with the way they reorganised the advertising bit and noticed mods leaving for this place - so signed up here and am now going to attempt to stay off SP...

This is a good forum, with a fine administrator, the majority of the members are from Sitepoint or formerly were Sitepoint members like myself, I can tell you that there is life after Sitepoint for sure!

Thanks, should say I had nothing against SP it was a pleasant site to visit and they seemed to have the right idea about using the community to sell their books.

Now they are just annoying regular visitors. I only started reading the news forum recently because they messed up that advertising forum, and noticed what had been happening. Whoever rearranged that forum has no idea about the subject or has other motives.

Actually it is very sad, but life goes on, Sitepoint founders have a chance to address the community and have had a chance to do that and have not done so!

We all have a choice and for a lot of us that is to post on other forums!
