Online Gaming

Hello,
does anybody know how to setup your own online game site? I mean there are countless sites around that offer games such Battlefield, Sqad etc. What is needed for a jumpstart into this? Do you buy them and install them on a server or rent servers with those games pre-installed?

I'm not quite sure if you are talking about demo download sites or game servers to host online games. In the case of hosting games, its basically impossible to make money from. You are just footing the bill and may be you can run banners or server messages, but thats it.

Now, if you want to host game servers that other people pay you for, thats a different story. In that case, you'll need a thorough knowledge or Linux and running servers.
