    DMOZ listing

My site peaceandhealing.com just got listed into the Health/Mental Health cateogry at DMOZ.

It took exactly 2 months (give or take 1 day).

Pretty quick. The new resource-zone.com is very useful.

It totally depends how active the editor of the cat is.

I've been an editor there for a while now and edit a few categories. I think the setup is pretty poor really. There's a blatant lack of editors and yet they're so reluctant to give out new editor rights. It's no wonder there's such a backlog. There's simply not enough people to process them.

I've gotten listings in 12 hours before (multiple ones too).

On the same token my literature site's homepage hasn't managed to be listed in 3 or 4 years.

I agree with Chromate about DMOZ.
It is hard to get into be an editor and even hard to get new cats. even though there is plenty that need editiing.

I try to get my edits out within a couple of days.
DMOZ public side had some hiccups for a while and even though your editor may have listed you straight away, it may have taken some time to show up on the public side.

Can you add folders to DMOZ?

    Say like...

    webmaster.com.com/free-fonts/

A folder is still a URL. So yes.
