Did they not mail you with the reason?
When I got the email saying I had been turned down, they provided a reason in the same email.
I was denied the first time for my site PeaceandHealing.com.
I emailed Google and asked them why, and mentioned how my site met and exceeded their terms & conditions (original content, no other advertising, etc.). I then received an apology letter from a manager who said my site shouldnt had been denied.

"Hello Daniel,
Thank you for your email.
Our records indicate that your account was previously disabled because
invalid clicks were generated on the ads on your site. Publishers disabled
for invalid click activity are not allowed to participate in Google
AdSense.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
Sincerely,

Just out of interest, if a user of a site running adsense clicks the ads several times, would google consider these invalid clicks and terminate your account?
I would imagine a competitor would see this as a golden opportunity for destruction.
Just wondering how they determine what are invalid clicks.
I've heard that google looks what IP the owner of the site has (via the publisher interface). So if they saw a load from another IP they would probably just deduct the amount from the earnings.
I could be wrong though.
Don't you just love free internet games ?
Yeah, it must be IP based. Probably check to see if the IP is part of the same subnet or something.
I got rejected 3 times, really wierd things too, like "bad link structure", but the 4th time I got in!
they sorted it out and finally accepted me

You know what, I've really been impressed with Google's customer service. For such a large organisation, they're so damn fast in sorting things out and replying to emails etc. Seriously impressed.
