No more Gmail in the uk

Says the BBC , due to copyright issues.

All new uk users of Gmail will go to Google Mail with an @googlemail.co.uk address. Not quite so catchy.

One would have thought G would have sussed the copyright thing in advance

Heh, I can't believe no agreement could be made. I'd have thought that Google would have wanted to keep gmail after all the promotion of it...
