i was looking to create a toolbar for my forum so members of it could d/l it and see whats going on without haveing to actually go to the forum. is this possible??

Instead of a toolbar, you could have an RSS feed.
And then use my RSS Usability Script to make it nice and easy for the reder to add it to their preffered aggregator!
