    Seeking Office Management Software

    Hi there,

I've been this online office management system hyperoffice.com for a while now & I never liked the program b/c of all the bugs, it wasn't designed properly (user interface) & tech support always blames us (not just me, even my VA & techie) for their issues, plus they don't return e-mails when one complains or asks for a credit for all the problems.

It even went down last night & no apology or anything when I wrote to them.

I'm looking for an Open Source program that I can use instead & put on my server & have a programmer tweak if necessary. I only deal with MySQL/PHP

    Any suggestions?

Here are the features I need...

    tasks
    calender
    groups & permissions
    file documents
    links/bookmarks

    etc.

Thanks & have a great day!

Maybe some CRM software will do the job, sugarcrm.com looks good.

I have used phprojekt in the past..
    http://www.hotscripts.com/search/6178998.html

It has group calendar with resource booking, time card system, project management, request tracker, mail client, mutual filesystem, contact manager, mail client, forum, chat, notes, todos, voting system, reminder and more

Its not perfect but it may be worth a look

It wasnt that I didn't like it.

We used it primarily for the calendar function / group management but there were limitations as to how that worked, but nothing we couldn't live with. I think there is a demo on the phprojekt site so you can have a play around

Ok, but a programmer can tweak the code right?
