Breaking 1,000 Clicks in A Day?

So those of you with LARGE sites how long did it take you to break 1,000 clicks a day on CPC publishing such as Google AdSense or AdBrite?

Sorry I don't know what other way to word this, and I am not asking about CPA offer clicks.

The reason I ask is that previously I was doing 250-350 clicks a day and today i`ve rocketed well over 700.

Well yesterday I did 2100 clicks on Google, and I usually do about 800-600 on searchfeed in a day.

I don't recall exactly how long it took me to get here though, but it was on 158k impressions (not counting defaults of course).

My max was just short of 800/day. But that's a total for all my sites.

    Update:

Since I added Adult Friend Finder the site is doing 700-1200 clicks a day from AFF and another 350 to 650 on adbrite.

    No comparison.
For one they are not the 'same' as users can't buy directly on your site w/adsense and on adbrite they can. Also I can't use adsense where I use adbrite so I can't comment on which works/pays better.

If I had to guess for a content site that was highly targeted adsense would work better.

1000 clicks a day from 1 site. That's amazing. Care to share how you did it? BTW, ToddW, how the hell did you rocket your clicks from 250 to 700 in one day? :-) . I'd really love to know this, and some other too i guess.

ToddW, on uploads.biz, aren't you keyword spamming? Why else would the only readable text be "No web hosting, no dedicated server - No Problem!" and everything else images (and ads)?

I'm not quite sure why you think that.

well, isn't it obvious? By making sure that the only readable text has to do with web hosting and dedicated servers, he's getting the highest paying ads he can get.. I've seen this tactic used on many spam sites before and I doubt google would approve. (they explicitly state that you need to have (textual) content on your pages)

Give me one other reason why he would make everything an image, and don't say typography because it looks ten times worse than normal text..
