Adsense, CPM, and viewing your own pages
Just looking at Adsense stats, and noticed a few channels had impressions, and earnings but no recorded clicks. I guessing that this must indicate CPM ads are being used?
Just crossed my mind about people clicking ads on their own pages being obviously wrong and risking being chucked off Adsense, but what about viewing your own pages when CPM ads are showing? I.e. the advertiser is having to pay you for you to view/check your pages?
Im probably being paranoid Maybe they dont count hits from the IP addresses that stats are checked from or something? I havent used CPM ads before, so its all a bit new for me

I was wondering why there was a slight difference for some channels That explains it, I guess.

I would imagine either they do not count impressions from your IP, or they simply don't care as 1 impression is far far less valuable than 1 click.
