This time is a happy moment.

1D0-420 exam caught me off guard. Sat the exam twice but failed due to insufficent study. I used Self Test Software and the CIW Site designer Bible. I'd say to my fault I relied on the STS software a little too much, and it did not accurately reflect the type of questions I had seen on the actual exam.
With a sigh of relief I laugh at myself as I have the cert now. Easy tips and tricks given in ucertify to solve questions in a limited time frame helped me. I read through each case study systematically and took copious notes on the dry erase board. It's the reading and writing that took the time answering the 44 questions was not that difficult.

Looks like Lucinda Ham had almost the exact same experience - you two kids should exchange notes!

Not to mention Ron Rice. Are you three in a study group?

There was an automated bot that posted in about 100 web master forums at once, I remember someone at sitepoint showed me it.

Maybe they realize that that would be too easily marked as spam, and so they post no links just names in some sort of bizarre branding campaign?

Or maybe the goal is to make posts, and then at a later date add a signature when the posts have hopefully made it under the radar.

My guess is that they keep making legitimate looking posts for a while to build up credibility, then start gently spamming some certification-related product. There's a greater chance of no one noticing if the spammer already has a good number of posts.

I think it's just someone having a laugh looking to get a reaction - a troll in other words.

There is a massive industry in undercover marketing. Ask Saad about it, he did a project at his school into it where he did it for Games2Go. Increased the Canadian traffic considerably so it must work in an offline way...

What kinda weirdo gives a crap about Canadians?

The guy's obviously just promoting the products that he's saying he used to study for the exam with.
