You could definately make some money off this, I've already noticed a few using Adsense.
I just found out they added streetmaps for Japan last week. Its funny because everything is in Kanji & the maps have outlines of all the buildings:

On top of that, they've added high-resolution images for my old house which I haven't seen in 15 years. I now know its still there!

I always knew the moon was made of cheese.
It sucks that it's only that one square that moon.google.com starts with that is repeated if you zoom out. And it's interesting with how good of satellites we have, we still can't magnify the images enough to see any of these landers.
Better question, is why Google didn't just take ground pictures--I'm sure it's just a short drive from here http://www.google.com/jobs/lunar_job.html to the landings.
