I finally got one of my sites listed in DMOZ -- a blog. The funny thing is I can't even remember if I submitted it. If I did, it was only 2 months ago, and it got listed last month.
The site has no ads, so I don't know if they helps or not. What it does have is links to my other sites with ads

My quickest listings were about 12 hours. I submitted it one night, the next morning they were added. I guess I got lucky with that editor. Of course others have taken months/years/never.
It sure seems like DMOZ is slooooooow. Still ever now and then they are on the ball. Congrats, getting listed in DMOZ can do wonders for your site's results in the SERPs.
Honestly, I never expected any of my sites to get listed there so I was quite suprised when this happened.
