AWS "item is currently not available"

I haven't been keeping up to date with the goings on in AWS world... Are we now able to get amazon to ONLY return products that are available?

    If so, how?

You could check the availability-string and if it contains 'not' don't display the article.

Trouble with that is you would get different length lists of products. Really would be good if you could limit results to products which are actually available.

I just don't display availability. Usually the item is available, Amazon just doesn't know it.

I'm surprised they haven't sorted this out yet. I suppose they want affiliates to display the items for the reason Chris mentioned. It's not optimal though.
