    Anybody tried SMF?

    Has anybody tried using SMF?

I've just been playing about with their demo forum and admin, and it looks quite good. It's free but it doesn't appear to suffer from the admin problems that PHPBB suffers from..

simplemachines is a good choice, has lots of options phpbb doesn't have, i think it's almost like invision.

I've been using it for a new community I started at www.shoothouston.com
I like it because it is quite easy to set up and administer, even on the notoriously quirky to install at 1and1.net.

I'm playing with it on a new domain and it is really a nice software for the price (free). I easily prefer it over phpBB.
