    I'm starting eCommerce site...

I'm starting my first ecommerce site soon, I've started buying the products, I've got myself OSCommerce. What I need first is a recommendation for a credit card processor, who do you use, (Chris, seen as though you use OSCommerce a recommendation from you would be really appreciated).?

Do you have an internet merchant number from your bank (or can you get one). There's a company my boss uses for credit card payments, that has nice low(ish) rates - and you can take debit cards, too, I think.

If you're interested, I'll ask him.

I use authorize.net, make sure you install the authorize.net consolidated contribution though.

As for a provider... I use global payments, but they might be US only. Authorize.net has a whole list of providers on their site though.

Oscommerce is a good choice. whatever you do, don't go with HSBC for payment processing.. Complete nightmare!
