1&1... I have no problems with them. They update my DNS when I need to change it really quickly and I again I have had no problems.

namecheap.com following recomendations somebody made in this forum, and for the moment I'm very happy with them, cheap too.

Like many others here, I use GoDaddy. The prices are good and I like the ability to manage DNS records (although that's pretty common by now).

I always recommend namecheap.com. They're simply fantastic. Couldn't ask for anything more. Right now they're offering free whois guards on their domains, so people can't easily get to your personal details (where you live, your phone number etc).

Their interface is great too. They handle renewals well too.

I will never make the mistake of having domain names handled by my host again.
I used to have them all handled by DR2.net (now mesopia) and when trying to transfer them all to GoDaddy it took over a month for me to do. They wouldn't respond to my help requests, and I almost thought that they'd never let me transfer. When I did they billed me for the renewal of the domain name I'd already transferred--after billing me falsly on purchasing the same domain name with .info instead of .com. This time they actually responded in a decent amount of time, and removed the charge from my invoice, though.

I agree James... it's not good when your host does your domains. For one of my sites that is what happens, my host is the owner of my domain. Meaning if I want to change hosts, it could be difficult in getting the domain.
