We take our pug to visit the in-laws every now and then via Delta. They let you fly with your dog as a carry-on for $125 domestically as long as you have them in a TSA-approved carrier. Just call ahead to say you bring your dog as a carry-on, and they'll add that detail to your ticket. Also, we sometimes travel by train, not so much as by plane,usually with dbfahrplan.com as they also have great conditions for your pets. Good luck with your trip!
