    Inner knee pain

I was playing badminton when I had to turn and dive and I got the outer side of the right knee wounded.(cement court). It is healing but today while I was climbing down stairs I experienced pain on the inner side of the knee. Can anyone explain what it is and is it safe to play if I experience pain while playing?

I got the injury on 29th December, 2019 and I have not played badminton since then except for a few matches on the same day.
It doesn't hurt while walking and I haven't tried running after the injury.

It is not okay to play badminton now or run after such trauma. It is very bad that the knee pain persists. You need to pay close attention to these pains so that the situation does not worsen. I suggest you go to a good orthopedist and do a knee treatment that will help you get rid of the pain completely and so you will be able to walk, climb stairs and run without feeling any pain. I also had problems with my knees due to an accident, and I went to a specialist who deals with bone and joint problems. He made me an individualized treatment plan that completely helped me get rid of the problem.
