    Question How to display "extensions of known file types"

    Hello,
    I was instructed to "uncheck" the box that says "Hide extensions of known file types (Tools)" in order to display the file extension.

    But I can not find that option anywhere in Windows XP Professional. Could you direct me? TIA.

    my computer >> Tools Menu >> Folder Options >> View >> Hide Extensions For Known Types
