    Internal links are hyperlinks that direct the reader to a target page on your website, whereas an external link is a hyperlink that directs the reader to a reputable page on a different website.

    An internal link is a type of hyperlink on a webpage to another page or resource, such as an image or document, on the same website or domain

    External Links are hyperlinks that point at (target) any domain other than the domain the link exists on (source).

    Internal links are hyperlinks on one page of your site that direct the reader to a target page on your site, whereas an external link is a hyperlink that directs the reader to a reputable page on a different website
