SEO - refers to (organic) listings. The results that appear (which are not ads) when you put in a keyword, or phrase into a search engine.

SEM - refers to (paid) listings that appear next to the organic ones on the SERPs (search engine results pages). Using a platform like Google Ads, you can purchase listings for your business and also (temporarily) appear at the top of the search page.

    Hi Friends,
SEO is increasing the amount of website visitors by getting the site to appear high on results returned by a search engine. SEM is considered internet marketing that increases a site's visibility through organic search engines results and advertising. SEM includes SEO as well as other search marketing tactics.
