SEO is about optimizing your website to get higher rankings in the organic search results while SEM goes beyond SEO. It involves other methods that can get you search engine traffic like PPC advertising.

    Hi Friends,
SEO means organic traffic is also known as non-paid. It stands for Search Engine Optimization that means search engine like Google, Yahoo, Bing, AOL, MSN etc. where our web pages optimise according to the guideline of search engine. If the web pages are properly optimised according to the search engine policy then the web pages will appear on it. And If the web pages rank on top 7 positions then we will get organic traffic [vistors] from it. Which is good for any website.

SEM means Search Engine Marketing that includes both PPC and SEO. PPC means pay per click where advertisers pay for per click. It's a combination of paid [Google Ads etc.] and non-paid [SEO].
