update yahoo & dmoz listing

Hi all,

Im in the process of purchasing a related content domain with a reasonable amount of existing backlinks and Google pagerank - looking to do a 301 permanent redirect to a related sub category on my site.

The site im purchasing is listed in Yahoo.com (free submit) and Dmoz.

Has anyone got any advice/experience as far as updating listings within Yahoo and especially Dmoz is concerned with domain changes?

You want to update the listing to reflect the subcategory of your current site?

Ideally yes.

with the other site in:

ASP/Tutorials

So you just want to update the url?

Just make a change request -- though there is always the chance that drawing attention to your listing results in it being deleted.
