Link for 'Today's posts' would be good

I have seen some forums use a 'Today's posts' link. This would be good because if you click on new posts then want to check them out a bit later you would be able to with a 'Today's Posts' link. Not sure how complex a hack it is though.

Just click on new posts, it should display all the new posts since the last time you visited. Thats what I do

Did you read the first post, Cutter?
It's quite clear he knows about it. Not trying to be an ***, and sorry if that came out as rude.

It's just a matter of editing the template for the top navigation, as it displays "Today's Posts" when you're not logged in.

This would be nice. When the new posts sometimes show incorrectly, I find myself manually adding /search.php?do=getdaily to the url.

You can see the 10 most recent topics on the site's homepage.

Is that new then, or have I just never noticed it before?

I tend to come straight to /forums anyway so probably missed it

I didn't notice it because I just have the forums bookmarked, as I've read all of the articles I wanted to. I still browse the site once in a while tho.

I still think a link for 'todays posts' would be good. It is a simple hack. It means you can check more than once on what updates have been made recently

I am not sure if you want to force people to go to the home page to look at the last ten posts, but think about growing the site where there are more than 10 posts per day.

Also, 'General Chat' does not seem to be in 'latest posts' on the home page whereas 'Introductions' does.

How about using the RSS feed - that shows the latest posts (and you dont even need to visit to see if there is anything new

+1. Sometimes I want to look through the latest posts beyond what's been posted since my last visit. Doesn't appear to be a way to do that.

'New posts' just shows posts since your last visit, and if you're a bit slow in clicking the new posts link (like you're reading a bunch of other open tabs), then I think it takes your current visit as the last visit, so you lose that list of recent posts.

Plus if you want to come back later to post about a thread, a today's post link would be useful.

A Today's posts link would be great. A 'posts in the last 24 hours' link would be awesome, but that would probably be quite complicated to add in.
